It was out last day in LA before flying home to Australia and we witnessed a rare cloud rainbow over Los Angeles, it lasted for nearly 30 mins, it was on the morning of 18th of July around 11:30 am
Can you tell me how these are formed, I have been a pilot for over 26 years and I have never seen one before, are they only seen on some parts of the world, I do not recall ever hearing about these before.
